NEW PROGRAM THIS YEAR
Kids Connection Group
6-week support/education group for children of alcoholics/substance abuse.
Program includes a mandatory parents group that will run at the same time as the kids group. Groups will meet once a week, for 2 hours.
Kids Connection Groups Topics:
Week One - Addiction Week Four - Treatment & Recovery
Week Two - Feelings Week Five - Safe People
Week Three - Problem Solving Week Six - Coping
Parents Group are for Adults in treatment and/or recovery,
Partners of parents in treatment or recovery,
or extended family members who may be parenting children of substance abusers
Parent group focuses on parenting as a relationship,
and enhances parents ability to nurture their children
Cost: $55* (includes the children/parents group)
*Sliding Scale Fee/Scholarship available for those who qualify
